James A. Shields

Born and raised in Philadelphia, he moved to Southampton with his wife Diane and children Mackenzie & Conner in 2002.

James was a certified Arborist and worked for Lou Giroud Tree Service in Huntingdon Valley.

He was an avid Eagles fan, and was involved with the Southampton Knights community football and baseball teams. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, nature and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Diane, his daughter Mackenzie, his son Conner, all of Southampton, his father and step-mother, James E. Shields and Rosemarie, his sister Kathleen Howells, his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Alicia Shields, and his brother Andrew Shields as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering for his family and friends will be held on Sunday, 10-18-15, from 7-9pm at the funeral home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley. Memorial services will be held on Monday, 10-19-15, at the funeral home. Friends and family are invited to gather between 10-11am with services at 11am.
