Karen W. McGuire died on Monday, June 19, 2017 at Abington Hospital. She was 99 years of age. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jalmar and Sanni Wuori. Karen had been a resident of Wesley Enhanced Living in Doylestown for the past 15 years. She had previously lived in Fort Pierce, FL and in New York.
Mrs. McGuire was a homemaker. Her interests included fashion design, modeling and traveling.
Karen was the beloved wife of Edward M. McGuire for over 65 years before his death in 2001. She was the devoted mother of Richard R. McGuire (Jane) of Charlottesville, VA and the late Edward McGuire (survived by his wife Nancy McGuire of Furlong). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Services and interment are to be private.
