Louis Joseph Varillo Jr.

He was a long time resident of Northeast Philadelphia. Louis was born on November 12, 1942 in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Louis Varillo Sr. and Jennie (Casella) Varillo.

He graduated from Cardinal Dougherty in 1961. Louis had been in the supermarket business since he was a young boy, when his family owned a grocery store. He then went on to establish a career as a Receiving Manager, working for Genuardis/Mad Grocer for over 20 years.

Louis loved going to Phillies games, collecting baseball cards, and spending quality time with his family which he loved so much.

Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna (Paone), and sister, Connie (Varillo) Yarzabek. He is

survived by his children; Jennifer Varillo Murphy, John Varillo (Kelly), Louis Varillo III (Susan) and six grandsons; Scott Murphy, Hunter Murphy, Louis IV, Giovanni, John and Joseph Varillo. He is also survived by his brother in law, Richard Paone, and wife, Lucille, and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation for Louis will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006, followed by a memorial service at 12:00 PM.
