

Louise M. Edelman died on Saturday, March 26 2016 at the Majestic Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Warminster. She was 100 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marie Strobel. Louise was a longtime Oakford resident.
Mrs. Edelman was a homemaker. She was member of the Scottsville United Methodist in Langhorne and had been active in the United Methodist Women’s Group and a volunteer at the Church Bazaars.
Louise enjoyed sewing and writing letters to friends and family.
Louise was the beloved wife of the Albert Edelman for 59 years before his death in 2004. She was the devoted mother of Richard Edelman (Linda) of Barnegat, NJ, Robert Edelman (Diane) of Bensalem, and Russell Edelman (Deborah) of Oakford. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 AM on Wednesday, March 30th at the Scottsville United Methodist Church, 2400 Brownsville Rd, Langhorne, PA 19053. Her funeral service will be at 10 AM. Louise’s interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Huntingdon Valley.
In lieu flowers, donations in her name may be made the Memorial Fund of Scottsville United Methodist Church.
