MaryKutty Kuruvila

Marykutty Kuruvila, better known as Marykutty teacher, wife of Mandrath Abraham Kuruvila (retired health inspector) was born to Geevarghese and Saramma, Kaleekal Vadakethil House, Kurathikadu, Mavelikara, Kerala, India on May 30th 1940. She is the fourth child of six siblings.

In 1965, she was married to M.A Kuruvila, Mini Bhavan, Kolladavu P.O, Cheruvalloor, Kerala. After her beloved husband passed away in 1998, she immigrated to the United States in 1999 to be with her daughter and family.

Marykutty accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at Pentecostal Church of Philadelphia in 2007. She was a silent prayer warrior and her faith in God kept her smiling throughout her ailment since 2010. Many times, the doctors gave up hope and recommended on numerous occasions to let her pass away but her faith kept her alive. Anyone who came to comfort her during her time of illness was comforted by her contagious smile.

On March 8th 2020 at 4:50 PM, Marykutty left her earthly body to be with the Lord. Marykutty’s health had its ups and downs, however, she remained strong until her very last breath. She passed away peacefully to join her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Marykutty is survived by her only daughter (Minimol), her son-in-law (Sabu George), and grandsons (Dr. Keith, Josh and Nicholas).
