

She was born in Philadelphia, PA to parents Bernard and Eve Wine and later moved to Cherry Hill, NJ. Maxine graduated from Cherry Hill High after excelling in academics, softball and basketball. She went on to graduate from Pierce Junior College and eventually onto a long and distinguished career as Executive Director at Schoolhouse Learning Center. She was an avid fan of Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies, and world travel.
Maxine, affectionally known as Max, is survived by her adoring children Brian (wife Victoria), Josh (wife Alison) and daughter Suzy (husband Joe) and her beloved grandchildren; Jacqui, Chase and Abby. She is also survived by her brother William (wife Suzanne) and sister Marcia (husband Lou) and far too many friends to list here.
A public visitation for Maxine will be held Friday, April 18, 2025 from 9:00 to 9:30 AM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006, followed by a funeral service at 9:30 AM. The service will last until 11:00 AM then guests will process together to the burial at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006.
Maxine was no fan of flowers so, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Visitors are welcome at the home of her son Brian (details to be provided at the funeral service).
