Michael James McElhinney, age 40, died suddenly on February 8, 2016. He is the beloved son of Elinore Everett McElhinney and Brendan McElhinney. He was the devoted father of his adored son, Brendan. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy and his baby sister. He is survived by his son, Brendan; parents, Elinore and Brendan; siblings, Mary Jo Cotilla, Lori Ann Brunetti, Edward Cotilla, Brenda Brolly, Sheleen McElhinney-DiPietro, several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly, many Aunts and Uncles and several cousins and friends. Michael was known for his “heart of gold” and his remarkable sense of humor. He will be sadly missed by all. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at St. Bede’s Roman Catholic Church, 1053 Holland Road, Southampton, PA 18966 at 10:00am. Interment is private.
