Roberta Elsie Taylor Schneider

Roberta E. (nee Taylor) Schneider passed peacefully after a courageous battle with lymphoma on Monday August 2, 2010 at her residence. She was 61 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Northeast Philadelphia.

Roberta was the office manager of the Ann Haviland State Farm Insurance Agency in Bensalem for over 10 years.

Roberta was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Feasterville. She served the Church as a member of the Church Council and was the President of the Council for several terms. Roberta also served on numerous committees and ran the church nursery for over 10 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a very kind, insightful person who made people feel important by listening and providing thoughtful advice and concern for everyone.

Roberta was the beloved wife of John S. Schneider for 42 years. She was the devoted mother of Joanne C. (Gerard)Attewell and Jennifer R. Schneider both of Philadelphia. She was the loving grandmother of Caroline Attewell. She is also survived by her sister Carol Anne (Robert) Williamson of Wilmington, DE. She is survived by her sister-in-law Florence (Richard) Haines and sister-in-law Mildred (Thomas) Poli. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service at 11 AM on Saturday August 14 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 65 E. Street Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
