Roland Proulx

He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly Brown and father of Michele Mazza (Francis Mazza), Roland Proulx, Jr. (Sherry Windoloski), Lisa Klein (Chuck Klein), and Andrea Becker (David Becker). He is survived by eight grandchildren; Gabrielle Mazza, Madison Mazza, Amelia Mazza, Nina Proulx, Jason Klein (Nicole Klein), Taylor Klein (Matt Giroud), Samantha Czibur (Nicholas Czibur) and Matthew Becker.

Roland migrated to the US from Canada with his Mom and Dad when he was just a young boy. He owned and operated several Maaco Auto Body shops until he retired in 1983. Roland enjoyed boating and spending time in Margate Beach with his wife and grandchildren, however, his true passion was volunteering with Pet Therapy dogs at Abington Jefferson Health Hospital. Roland had volunteered for almost 20 years with his many greyhound dogs (Annie, Cory, and Puffy) and his most recent saluki dog, Cyrus.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 04, 2017 at Lamb Funeral Home, Inc. 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA with gathering from 10:45 AM-11:15 AM, Celebration of Life Service at 11:15 AM and Interment at Shalom Memorial Park Cemetery. All friends and family are invited to a luncheon at Chuck and Lisa Klein’s home, following the services.
