

Rose was born on May 14, 1938, in Philadelphia, PA, to parents, Lawrence and Mary-Ann (Martin) Fowler. Rose had four siblings. She graduated from West Catholic High School in 1956.
Rose enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, and playing the organ. She previously coached track and bowling and was also a former committee woman in the Kensington section of the city. She was a member of the Catholic Youth Organization and the Red Hat Society.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents; her best friend and love of her life, husband John J. Bell Sr., they were married for 58 years. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Mary Fowler, Catherine Fowler, Michael Fowler, Teresa Stahl (Fowler)
Rose is survived by her four children, John J. Bell, Jr., Catherine Meskill (Jim), James Bell (Drucinda), Maureen Grogan (Anthony), eight grandchildren, Kristina (Grogan) Prozorov, Holly Grogan, Brittany Bell, Julia Meskill, James Meskill, Grace Bell, Matthew Bell, Emily Bell, nine great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to attend a one-hour Visitation on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 654 Hatboro Rd., Richboro, PA 18954, from 10:00am – 11:00am. A Memorial Service will begin at 11:00am, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery 5201 Hulmeville Rd Bensalem, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s name to a charity, or organization, of the donor’s choice.
