Rose was born on December 10, 1931 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, to parents, Daniel and Anna Foster. Rose was blessed to have 9 siblings, she is survived by 2 sisters, Annamae Stonesifer and Elsie McCormick.
Rose was a very loving and caring person, was very strong in her faith. This was evident at a young age when she joined the Salvation Army. Through the years she touched many in numerous different ways. Even in her later years when moving into the Philadelphia Protestant Home she quickly formed a club to make sure no residents went without material items as well as friendship.
In addition to her children, Mike - Pat (Bill)- Donna (Bill) she is mourned by eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “GG”.
Rose was preceded in death by Clyde Eugene Randolph (husband) and Sherman Posey (husband).
A viewing is scheduled for Friday, September 16, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at The Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6401 Martins Mill Road, Philadelphia PA 19111, followed by a funeral service at 3:30PM
