Samuel Ebersole

Samuel W. Ebersole, age 80, died on Tuesday March 8, 2011, at Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA. Born in Enola, PA, he was a resident of Trevose for over 54 years. He was the son of the late Wilbur and Winifred Ebersole.

Mr. Ebersole was a retired engineer for Bell Atlantic. He was a Marine Corps veteran, who served proudly in the Korean War. He was a member of the Assumption BVM Church choir, with whom he sang for over 33 years. He was the chartering Cubmaster for cub pack # 153 of Feasterville. Samuel was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Lodge # 4052. He enjoyed eating ;

especially Shrimp and enjoyed following the Phillies and the Eagles.

Samuel was the beloved husband of Lenore, married over 57 years. Devoted father of Carol ( J.J.) Joscelyne, Stephen( Janelle), and Paul (Ann Marie). He was the loving grandfather of Karry, Amy, Shane, Jason, Lawrence, Kiersten, Great Grandfather of Juné, Rhett, Dakota, Abigail, and Ayden. He will be sadly missed by his sister Betty(Allyn)Bertolina, his brother David (Daryl), and by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday March 10 from 7-9pm at the Lamb FH 101 Byberry Rd Huntingdon Valley, PA and Friday 3/11 from 9:30-10:30 at Assumption BVM Church Feasterville. and to participate in his Funeral Mass at 10:30AM His interment will follow in ResurrectionCemetery.
