Born Dec. 31, 1977, in Philadelphia, she was a graduate of Neshaminy High School and worked as a medical assistant.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Carey, and step-mother, Geraldine Horn-Carey.
She is survived by her husband, Nick Valotta; two sons, Evan Valotta and Luke Valotta; and a daughter, Haley Valotta. She is also survived by her mother, Donna Jakimowicz (Joseph); brothers, Michael and Brian Carey; Kelly Jakimowicz-Hopkins, and Joseph and Anthony Jakimowicz.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Jan. 9, at Lamb Funeral Home, Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, with a Memorial Service at 11 a.m.
