Dear Iryna and family, 

Please accept our deepest condolences! Your mother, grandmother, and great grandmother was so loved and cherished by many.  She will be missed, but may the memories of her stay with you always!  May God give you peace, comfort and understanding in this difficult time. Stay strong! May she rest in peace.

On two occasions, I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Svitlana Agadzhanova.
The first time was in 2024 over a delicious Armenian dinner in the home of her daughter, Iryna, and her son-in-law, Vladimir. The second time was over dinner in a local restaurant in January 2025. 
I called Svitlana “Digin,” which is “Madame” in Armenian and was touched that our shared Armenian heritage enabled us to forge an instant connection. 
I appreciated Digin’s courage, appetite not only for dinner but for life, her love of family and her mastery of the Armenian language, which is heartwarming music  to my ears. May she rest in peace knowing she lived life fully and was loved.
My sincere condolences and batchigner  to her family both in the United States and elsewhere.
