He was a long-time resident of Philadelphia, PA. Scott was born on December 20, 1958 in Key West, Florida, to his parents, the late Walter Wagner and the late Carlene Wagner. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in physics. Scott went on to establish a career as an Energy Auditor, and an Associate Professor at Penn State.
Scott was a dedicated fan of Philadelphia sports teams, and an avid audiophile. He loved music, cooking, and trips to the Jersey Shore.
Scott is survived by his partner Barbara Bryer, her son Phil (Brittany) Bryer, his sisters Sandra Wagner and Susan (Michael) Carrington, and his nieces Elizabeth (Thomas) Theis, and Mary (Kevin) Suerth, and nephew Stephen (Leigh) Carrington.
A visitation for Scott will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Lamb Funeral Home, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Followed by a words of remembrance service at 10:30AM. Burial at 11:00AM at Forest Hills Cemetery, 25 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
