My son Brodey races BMX (home track North Bay BMX) and one of our fellow riders made Ride for Carson side plates. My son was proud to ride his in this last weekends State race at Oak Creek CA.  Alot of our riders wear stickers for him on their helmet. He will be remembered by his BMX family.

  Words cannot describe on losing a loved one, especially someone so close. Carson was such an uplifting, inspiring & handsome young man. Hugs & prayers as we move along in days, months, years let us honor carson.

I want to take this venue to express my deepest sympathy to the entire family of the tragic accident and death of Carson.  It is so difficult to understand and accept the death of a young person. To the Stoffel family. Although I didn't know you or Carson personally, my son , Daniel knew him. They were in 9th grade English class together.  I felt I had to express my sympathy for the passing of your son. From what my son has told me,  Carson was a very special person.  Someone others could look up to. Carson was a joy to have in class.  He was always respectful to others, hard working, quick at learning, and ready to talk about his racing with a gleam in his eye.  He lived life to the fullest, and he talked about his faith in Jesus as his savior.  So this is just farewell for now and we will see you soon in heaven.   May God bless and comfort his family and friends during this time.

Jake and Krista, you and your boys have been through so many things over the past several years.  Having said that, Jake, take comfort and peace in knowing that Carson knew you loved him.  He also knew that you were so very proud of him.  Krista, Carson got to see that his mama loved Jesus!  He got to witness first hand that we serve a God who is forgiving, loving, and the giver of peace.  Carson was one lucky young man to be able to have the mama that God made you to be.  Love you.


Our lives were forever changed with Carson’s passing. Jake and Krista, I pray for peace and strength to carry you through this time. As someone who loved Carson wholeheartedly, I am finding solace in his BMX community of friends and peers. All you can hope for is that a child finds his own way as he grows. Every hour since his passing there is proof of Carson’s footsteps into creating his way in this world. He touched so many people in his time here, and their out pouring of love is amazing. My heart is filled with so much joy and pride. The grief is still there too, but it makes it a little easier knowing Carson was doing what he loved and was sharing it with the world. 

When Abbey was born Carson couldn’t wait to hold her. I was so hesitant, but he sat with her on Nana’s couch and he didn’t want to let go. He was always so protective and loving to Abbey. I am sharing one of the many pictures I have of these two cuddled up. Abbey could never get enough of her “Car-Car”. ❤️

Ashton will miss you so very much. He loved hanging out with you, Zach and others and getting into mischief like boys do. Ashton is thankful and blessed that you were his friend. 

To Jake and Krista.  I’m praying for you both day and night. Your parental strength through all of this has been amazing.   You raised an astonishing young man.  I love you both.   To Chandler.  Your heart and compassion for others is extraordinary. I love you nephew. To Carson.  You did it!  May I see you everyday through the lives you touched. I love you child.
