

Carl E. Hack, 86 of Huntington passed away at 5:23 am on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at The Tipton House. He was a 1943 graduate of Clear Creek High School. He attended the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Huntington and the Pleasant Chapel United Methodist Church. He was a life time farmer in Huntington County. He enjoyed basketball and played guard for the Clear Creek High School Bulldogs basketball team. He loved going out to eat with Arlene his wife of 56 years and enjoyed festivals and parades and spending time with his daughter and three grandchildren.
He was born on May 11, 1925 in Huntington County, the son of Lawrence E. and Mildred V. (Stults) Hack.
He was united in marriage to Arlene Robrock on February 12, 1955 in Huntington. His wife survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Jana (Reo) Parrett of Huntington; two sisters: Helen Kitt of Carmel, IN; Madalyn (Jack) Dinius of Arizona and three grandchildren: Tucker (Tonya) Parrett, Cassidy Parrett and Jericho Parrett all of Huntington.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2011 at 10:30 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Chaplain Robin LaRue officiating.
Interment will be at the Beech Grove Cemetery in Huntington County.
