Donna M. Schnepp, 60 of Huntington, went Home to be with her Lord on Wednesday evening, March 19, 2025 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. Donna was a 1982 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School. She was a member of College Park Church. She retired from Lutheran Hospital where she worked as a Sterile Processing Professional. She was the first individual in the state of Indiana to achieve the status of Certified Instrument Specialist and went on to attain Certified Healthcare Leader. She was a lifetime member of Strathmore's Who's Who among professionals for her leadership, achievement and dedication to her profession. Donna had a passion for her profession and the elderly. She was a member of Pathfinder Services, Inc., the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management and the Central Indiana Chapter of IAHCSMM.
Donna was born on April 3, 1964 in Huntington, a daughter of David E. and Margaret M. "Tootie" (Schmitt) Schnepp.
Survivors include her Mother: Margaret Schnepp of Huntington; three brothers: Mike (Deb) Schnepp of Huntington, Dick (Janene) Schnepp of Winter Haven, FL, Bob (Sara) Schnepp of Huntington; two sisters: Cathy (Steve) Herber of Roanoke and Marianne "Mari" Peterson of Huntington; thirteen nephews, four nieces, several great nieces and nephews and her beloved dog: Rapha.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother-In-Law: Ron Peterson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 3:00 pm following visitation at the funeral home.
Private family burial at a later date at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Huntington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made out to College Park Church Benevolent Fund or College Park Church Counseling Scholarship Fund both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
