Erma E. Miller

Erma Eileen Miller, 91 formerly of Huntington passed away on September 13, 2015 at Carriage Hill Retirement Center in Bedford, Virginia. Erma was an avid supporter of the Salvation Army where she loved to play the piano. The family thanks the caregivers of both Valley View and Carriage Hill Retirement Centers for their kind, patient and a loving care.

Erma was born on February 26, 1924 in Huntington, a daughter of Oscar B. and Clara M. (Wright) Christ.

She was united in marriage to George H. Miller on August 20, 1944. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son: Roger (Beverly) Miller; a granddaughter: Katie Graves all of Madison Heights, VA; and a sister: Jeanette Gray of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Richard Christ, Glenn Christ and four sisters: Grace Wohlford, Anita Conkle, Doris Buckley and Elizabeth Dickerson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 am, following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.

Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
