

George G. Brannon, 79 of Huntington passed away at 3:52 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at the Heritage Pointe in Warren. Mr. Brannon had worked for 30 years at GM Fisher body in Marion, retiring in 1985 and was a member of the GM Sympathy Club. He was a 1952 graduate of Morton Memorial High school at the Soldiers and Sailors Children Home in Knightstown. He was a member of the American Legion Post 85 and the Eagles Lodge 823 in Huntington.
He was born on December 13, 1933 in Muncie, IN a son of Gilbert and Reba (Dunagan) Brannon.
He was united in marriage to Marjorie E. Deeds on September 25, 1954 in Huntington. His Beloved Wife survives.
Additional survivors include a daughter: Darlene M. Berry of Huntington, two sisters: Rachel Driscoll of Marion and Charlotte Devel of Florida. Three grandchildren: Kerby Berry, Kasey Berry and Kelli Berry and a great grandson: Xavier Berry.
He was preceded in death by a daughter: Judy Brannon, six sisters and two brothers.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford St., Huntington, IN.
Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Don Marlowe officiating.
Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Memorial Gardens in rural Huntington County.
Memorial donations may be made out to the American Heart Association in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
