George H. Mason

George H. Mason, 84 of Markle passed away at 10:51 a.m. on Friday February 1, 2019 at Markle Health and Rehab. George enjoyed reading, fishing, camping, and traveling. And he loved going to Johnny’s restaurant. George was born on May 7, 1934, a son to Howard C. and Hazel (Melling) Mason. His parents preceded him in death. Survivors include two sisters: Christine Coates of Roanoke, and Emilie Kreisher of Markle; and one brother: Jerry Mason of Tacoma Washington. He was preceded in death by a brother: Donald Mason and a sister: Sue Lindley There will be no public visitation or funeral services Memorial donations can be made out to The American Heart Association in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
