June E. Everitt

June Eileen Dunn Everitt, 91 of Warren and formerly of Roanoke passed from this life to her heavenly home on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Heritage Pointe of Warren. June was a 1947 graduate of Greensburg High School. She received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Education from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She taught Home Economics for 8 years in Ashley, IN and 26 years of Elementary teaching at Roanoke Elementary in Roanoke. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Alpha Zeta Chapter for 60 years. June was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greensburg and was affiliated with Markle United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending winters in Florida after her retirement from teaching in 1987 and moved to Heritage Pointe of Warren in 2012. June was born on March 14, 1929 in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of the late Willard L. and Eva May (Christy) Dunn. She was united in marriage to Paul Henry Everitt on August 7, 1954 in Franklin, Indiana. Paul preceded her in death on February 14, 1993. There are no survivors. June was the last of her family. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral service to follow visitation at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Glenwood Cemetery at a later date.
