Leilani R. Bartrom, 85 of Huntington, passed away on Thursday evening May 16, 2024 at the Waters of Huntington. She was a 1956 graduate of Warren High School. Leilani worked at Schneider Electric/Square D Corp. for 33 years in Huntington. She loved to binge watch NCIS, she also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, celebrating Christmas and buying gifts.
Leilani was born on July 31,1938 in Liberty Center, IN a daughter of the late James and Eleanor (Crum) Yount.
She was united in marriage to Jerry A. Bartrom on December 21, 1957 in Warren, IN. Jerry preceded her in death on May 15, 2019.
Survivors include: Two sons: Robert (Marlene) Bartrom and Tracy (Mary Jane) Bartrom both of Huntington and a daughter: Tammie (Jeff) Frederick also of Huntington; five grandchildren: Skydawn (Travis) Bickel of Huntington, Desiree Frederick of Huntington, Danielle (Matt) Johnson of Fishers, Kelsey (Steven) Cady of Michigan, Jared Bartrom of Huntington and three great grandchildren: Melody Bickel, Hunter Bickel and Iris Johnson.
Leilani was preceded in death by: her parents, husband and a brother: Denny Yount.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 6:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Ken Thompson officiating.
