Lois Geraldine McClurg, age 102, of North Manchester and formerly of Huntington passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester. She was born on November 27, 1922 in Huntington to the late Max and Hazel Harper. She graduated from Huntington Township in 1940. Lois married Ralph McClurg on May 30, 1941. She was a homemaker and mother. They spent 56 years together raising two children and enjoyed becoming grandparents. Ralph preceded her in death on November 18, 1997. Lois bowled with the same ladies league for 55 years. She was in a Bunco Club and played golf.
Survivors include a daughter: Linda (Jerry) Glass of Paulding Ohio; Grandsons: Andy (Tami) Paul of Columbia City, Shad (Chrissy) Paul of Huntington; Great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son: Robert McClurg; a son-in-law: John Paul; and three brothers: Robert Harper, Darwin Harper, and Jack Harper.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 5, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
A private family entombment will take place at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion at a later date.
