Lora L. Sexton

Lora L. (Richardson) Sexton, 49 of Andrews passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Lora was a 1989 graduate of Huntington North High School. She worked as a recruiter for Merit Logistics. She loved riding motorcycles and old muscle cars. Lora lived for and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was very excited to be a grandmother. She enjoyed her dog J.J. Lora was born on September 30, 1971 in Wabash, the daughter of Dennis Richardson and Christine Proffitt. Survivors include a daughter: Jessica Hall of Ossian; a son: Jarrod (Abi) Sexton of Ossian; father and stepmother: Dennis and Julie Richardson of Huntington; mother and stepfather: Christine and Lendley Cross of Andrews; three sisters: Tammy Richardson of Selah, Washington, Amanda (Adam) Stroup of Huntington, Mallorie (David) Malicki of Huntington; two brothers: Tyler (Brandy) Richardson of Huntington, Josh (Candice) Cross of Marion; paternal grandmother: Marjorie Richardson of Huntington and a granddaughter: Teagan Sexton on the way. She was preceded in death by grandfather: Doyle Richardson and grandparents: Ralph and Norma Jean Proffitt. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Memorial service following visitation at 3:00 pm. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for masks, social distancing and social gathering limits. Memorial donations can be made out to the donor’s choice of charity in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
