Marilyn J. Clark, 87 of Huntington passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Parkview Regional Medical Center. Marilyn was a graduate of Huntington Township High School. She worked in the school cafeteria at Riverview Middle School for over ten years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Marilyn enjoyed crafts, gardening, reading and baking. She was famous for her peanut brittle and sugar cookie cut outs at Christmas. She was also den mother for the Boy Scouts.
Marilyn was born on October 9, 1932 in Huntington, the daughter of the late Norman and Martha (Huffman) Jackson.
She was united in marriage to Paul Clark on January 19, 1952 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Paul preceded her in death on October 27, 2017.
Survivors include a son: Bill (Darlene) Clark of Huntington; a daughter: Cathy Beard of Huntington; a sister: Sandra Bonner of Huntington; three grandchildren: Silas Clark, Tanner Crawford and Hartley Geyer all of Huntington.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Phillip Jackson, Robert Jackson, Richard Jackson and two great grandsons: Milo and Maverick Brown.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. We will be following the CDC’s guidelines for Social Distancing and Social Gathering Limits.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 following visitation at 2:00 pm with Father Stephen Colchin officiating.
Interment will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
