Marsha J. Schnitz, 78 of Huntington, passed away on Thursday evening, February 27, 2025 at Envive of Huntington. Marsha collected dolphins and liked to go camping, doing crossword puzzles, reading and staying home to watch her tv shows and playing Dr. Mario on the Nintendo 64.
She was born on July 11, 1946 in Huntington, a daughter of the late Donald F. and Lillian M. (Shearer) Henry.
She was united in marriage to Samuel E. Schnitz on February 4, 1965 at the Salvation Army. Samuel preceded her in death on April 7, 2002.
Survivors include three sons: Brook Schnitz of Huntington, Brandon (Cari Ann) Schnitz of Huntington and Ben Schnitz; a sister: Susan Bailey of Huntington; three brothers: Gary (Dianne) Henry of Broomfield, CO, Terry (Peggy) Henry of Warsaw and Rod (Anita) Henry of Huntington; a sister-in-law: Jo Henry of Huntington and good friend: Jimmy Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Ronnie Henry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Burial will take place at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
