Mary E. Groves Cryderman

Mary E. Cryderman, 94 of Huntington passed away at 5:10 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Mary was a homemaker. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Dandelion’s Ladies Club in Huntington.

She was born on March 27, 1918 in Howe, Indiana, a daughter of Arthur F. and Corinthia B. (DeHaven) Groves.

She was united in marriage to Earl C. Cryderman on September 7, 1946 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on October 25, 2012.

Survivors include a daughter: Phyllis (Robert) Prewitt of Ripon, CA; a son: James (Carol) Cryderman of Huntington; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Caroline VanDine; a sister: Esther Giddings and three brothers: Lawrence Satterwaite, Vallence Groves and Ralph Groves.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior to the service at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel with Pastor Bill Rapp and Pastor Robert Land officiating.

Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in rural Huntington County.
