Michael G. “Mike” Meyer, 70 of Albion passed away on July 31, 2021 at his residence. Mike was a 1971 graduate of Huntington North High School. He had worked as a transportation escort for six years. He was a member of the Sons of the VFW in Albion. Mike loved cars, everything about them and anything loud. He enjoyed tractor pulls, playing volleyball with his family and grilling out.
Mike was born on May 18, 1951 in Sturgis, Michigan, the son of the late George and Wilma (Felton) Meyer.
Survivors include three sisters: Linda (Steven) Bueker of Roanoke, Debra (Michael) Branstator of Roanoke, Susan (Al) Minor of Royse City, TX; four brothers: Richard (Monica) Koldyke of Columbia City, Robert (Karen) Koldyke of Albion, Larry Peters of LaGrange and Danny Gross of Michigan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Memorial service will follow visitation at 5:00 pm. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines.
