Muriel L Mosher

Muriel L. Mosher, 89 of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Coventry Meadows Nursing Center. Muriel was a 1949 graduate of Northside High School, a 1953 graduate of Manchester College and received her master’s degree from IU/PU. She taught in the Fort Wayne Community School System for several years. Muriel was a member of the Seminary United Methodist Church, Indiana State Teachers Association and United Methodist Women. She was born on April 5, 1931 in Orland, Indiana, the daughter of Avon and Olive (Jacob) Morey. She was united in marriage to Donald Mosher on June 7, 1952 in Fort Wayne. Donald preceded her in death on April 11, 2009. Survivors include two daughters: Cheryl Mosher of Churubusco, IN, Cindy Grabner of Roanoke and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Christopher Mosher; a daughter: Ann Burdick; and two brothers: Hal Morey and Jack Morey. There will be no services. Memorial donations can be made out to Seminary United Methodist Church or to Alzheimer’s Association both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
