Nancy A. Martin

Nancy A. Martin, 84 of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Parkview Huntington Hospital. Nancy was a 1954 graduate of Huntington High School. She had worked at Target for many years and later worked at Edward Jones for 20 years, retiring in 2020. Nancy was a life time member of the Women of the Moose Chapter 255 in Huntington and was currently serving as secretary. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed crossword puzzles and word search puzzles. She bowled for many years and loved to go shopping. Nancy was born on May 20, 1936 in Wabash, the daughter of the late Donald and Maxine (Ballard) Kramer. She was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Rex E. Martin on May 30, 1954 in Huntington. Rex preceded her in death on August 7, 2019. Survivors include a daughter: Kim Myers of Huntington; two sons: Jerry (Rhonda) Martin and Chris Martin both of Huntington; four grandchildren: Sean P. Myers, Brandy R. Strawderman, Ashlee N. Martin, Marisa K. Dalrymple and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother: Jim K. Kramer. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. Memorial service will follow visitation at 1:00 pm. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for masks, social distancing and social gathering limits. Interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Huntington at a later date.
