

Pamelia B. Covey, 63 of Huntington passed away at 2:00 am on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Norwood’s Health & Rehabilitation Center. Pam was a 1967 graduate of Dallas Township High School. She was a member of the First Brethren church since 1974, and Enjoyed Cross stitching and puzzles. Pam was an avid collector of Breyer Horses as well as antiques. She enjoyed quilting, but most of all she loved being a Grandma.
Pam was born on June 25, 1949 in Huntington County, a Daughter of Henry and Janien (DeBatty) Emley. Her mother survives.
Pam was united in marriage to Charles Covey in Huntington County on February 28, 1970. Her Husband Survives.
Additional Survivors include 1 Daughter: Carol Dugan of Indianapolis; A son: Chris (Erin) Covey of Huntington; 2 Grandchildren: Gavin and Benjamin Covey of Huntington; A Step Granddaughter Suzi Schmitt of Huntington; 3 Sisters: Judy (Larry) Quinn of Andrews, Sue Sinkler of Erin TN, and Shirley Dunnuck of Van Lear TN; and One Brother: Bernard Emley of Huntington. And Several Nieces and Nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son Jason Aaron Covey .
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 11:00 am at the First Brethren Church, 45 S. Marion Road, Huntington, Indiana with Pastor Dianna Teusch officiating.
