Rex E. Wilhelm

Rex E. Wilhelm, 78 of Huntington passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at his residence. Rex served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Post 85 where he held numerous posts. Rex loved to fish and was an avid collector of many items. He never knew a stranger and always had a smile for everyone. He was born on July 4, 1942 in Huntington, the son of Carl and Maxine (Haberland) Wilhelm. He was united in marriage to Lucille Kissinger on May 30, 1972 in Huntington. Lucille preceded him in death. Survivors include a son: David (Summer) Wilhelm of Huntington; a sister: Karen Salter of Huntington; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Pamela Bedwell. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for Social Distancing and Social Gathering Limits.
