Rocky Anders, 72 of Huntington, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, April 8, 2025 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. Rocky was a 1970 graduate of Huntington North High School. He worked for many years at BICC General Cable in Marion in millrite maintenance. He was a member of the Eagle's Lodge #823 of Huntington. Rocky enjoyed golfing, and was a race car driver and enjoyed going to races. He enjoyed playing poker and being a jokester.
Rocky was born on June 9, 1952 in Huntington, a son of the late Kara and Charlotte (Flocker) Anders.
He was united in marriage to Tina Bolding in November of 1997 in Huntington. Tina survives.
Additional survivors include a son: Scott Anders of Huntington; a daughter: Amy (Chris Herring) Bolding of Huntington; a sister: Diane (Roger) Flaugh of Huntington; his beloved dog: Maggie; six grandchildren: Desiree, Lacie, Jacie, Marissa, Susie, Chelsea and two great grandchildren: Isabelle, Dalilah; a special loved one: Debbie Septer and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Tom Anders.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
