Sandy Keplinger-Lake, 61 of Churubusco passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her residence. Sandy was a 1977 graduate of Huntington North High School. She retired from Bendix Corporation after 40 years. She loved lake life at Blue Lake and enjoyed the water with her friends. Sandy was a beloved mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor. She was a member of the Buckeye Christian Church.
Sandy was born on August 30, 1959, the daughter of the late Roger and Elizabeth (Gee) Brown.
She was united in marriage to Steven R. Lake in 2014. Steven preceded her in death on January 20, 2021.
Survivors include: two sons: Bryn Keplinger of Huntington, Isaac (Casey) Keplinger of Fishers; a stepdaughter: Stephanie (Beau) Matus of South Amhurst, OH; a sister: Ronda Sereno of Oxford, MI and a granddaughter: Quinn Keplinger of Fishers.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana’s guidelines for Social Distancing and Social Gathering Limits.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made out to Blue Lake Association or Churubusco-Smith Township Volunteer Fire Department both in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
