Shirley M. Hart, 78 of Huntington passed away at 10:20 am on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Hickory Creek Health Care Center. Shirley was a homemaker. She had been a resident at Hickory Creek for several years. She will be missed by the nursing staff.
She was born on February 11, 1935 in Washington, DC, a daughter of Martin Bernard and Ethel Mae (Barnes) Blum.
Survivors include two sons; Earl K. Taylor of Bellevue, ID; Daniel F. Burnett of Avilla, IN; a daughter: Faith (Tim) Hill of California and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Martin B. Blum, Jr. and a sister: Dorothy L. Linton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 5:00 – 6:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 6:00 pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will take place at a later date.
