Steven K. Myers

Steven K. “Steve” Myers, 67 of Huntington passed away at 11:50pm on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Lutheran Hospital. Steve was a 1965 graduate of Roanoke High School. He worked at DANA Corp. in Fort Wayne for 36 years, retiring in 2001.

Steve was born on January 31, 1947 in Huntington, a son of Dale and LaVonne (Briner) Myers.

He was united in marriage to Cynthia Sands on July 5, 1975 in Huntington, his wife survives.

Additional survivors include three sons: Scott Myers of Drover, TN; Douglas Myers of Huntington; Kevin Myers of Huntington; three daughters: Angela (Steven) Heefner of Mercersburg, PA; Tawona (Simon) Johnson of Suffolk, England; Christina (Scott) Kinsey of Huntington; a brother: Michael (Jane) Myers of Huntington; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Dale and LaVonne Myers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 3:00pm – 5:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 5:00pm following visitation at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
