My name is Jerry Vohs, Carolyn's cousin. The thing I remember the most is that Tom was very good for her, and her for him. I kind of lost track of him over the last several years and didn't know that he had moved moved back to Kokomo. Sorry for your loss and I'll be thinking of your family in my prayers today.

Uncle Tom was the most gentle soul. I wish that I had known him earlier in his life. I would have loved watching him teach and learning from him. I appreciated his contemplative nature and his unique sense of humor. Finis coronat opus. Well done faithful servant!

Tom and I shared breakfast together Monday through Thursday for 17 years! We met for breakfast before school and then headed to work. On Friday he always brought donuts for the department. He never got flustered and was always a favorite of the students. My husband Bill ate lunch out with him every day for even longer. His devotion to Carolyn, his friends and students was unfailing. I feel honored to call him friend and will treasure his memory always.

No one was more loved by students or coworkers than Tom Parsons. He brought donuts to the teachers lounge every Friday for 20 years and will always be remembered for his sharp wit and generous heart.

Tom was such a wonderful colleague!! He helped me so much when I returned to teaching. He even insisted that I apply for the position. He and Dr. Ort were my saviors when I had to have emergency surgery. I always think of him fondly. He even loved impatients and loved planting them. Such great memories!!

I have tears in my eyes as I read of the passing of Mr. Parsons' passing. He was a wonderful teacher. Mark and I have always credited him with getting us together. We had homeroom with him and one day he laughingly said that we should get married because we would have 'beeeuntiful' children with green eyes and delightful laughs. He will always have a special place in our hearts. He was right that we should get married. We have been together now for 48 years. And do have 'beeeeautiful' children. May he rest in peace and enjoy his reward.
