ROBERT L. McGHEE, 81, of Huntington, W.Va., died October 27, 2012, at his home. Born July 10, 1931, Robert was the husband of Sherian Y. Long McGhee, 1937-2010. Robert served in the United States Navy and was retired as a self-employed building contractor. He is survived by his sons Robert L. McGhee II and William A. McGhee of Port St. Lucie, Florida and daughters Carol McGhee Kisamore of Charleston, W.Va., and Elisabeth McGhee Henderson of Fayetteville, N.C., as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A graveside service is planned for 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, with Pastor Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial next to his wife will follow. Beard Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
