Andrew A. Stanley, 27, died July 11 2012. He grew up on Cape Cod and was a 2003 graduate of Barnstable High School where he excelled as a football player. Following graduation, he continued to refine his mind through self-education and his ongoing worldly experiences. He felt this was the proper choice to better himself although he had been offered an academic scholarship at the University of Georgia. He was self-employed as the owner of Fresh Fashions on Main St. in Hyannis for 5 years. More recently, he pursued the study of real estate in hopes of making real estate investing his career.
Andrew was best remembered as a sincere friend with a heart of gold who gave too many as selflessly as he could. Physically and mentally well disciplined, he dedicated much of his time to staying active as he understood the importance of a sound mind and body. He gained the affection of all who knew him best by balancing a temperament composed of sage like sternness and childlike playfulness. He emphasized the importance of friendship and family to all and had the magnetism to bring many together for a common cause. His greatest attribute was his determination for the betterment of all and he will be remembered most for his role in this world as an inspirational leader.
He is survived by his loving grandmother, mother, father, several brothers and two sisters. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday July 19, 2012 from 2-8pm at the Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St. Hyannis, MA 02601. Funeral services and burial will be private.
