Barbara Francis (Hallett) Beaupre

Prior to that, she and her husband, George, raised their family on Mulberry Street in Hyannis. George, a World War II veteran who received the Purple-Heart, passed away in 2001. Barbara and George were devoted to their family, raising two sons, and helping raise their two granddaughters. One son, Steven M. Beaupre, lives in East Falmouth with his wife, Linda and their family. Her other son, Gary S. Beaupre, lives with his wife, Sally, in Sunnyvale, CA.

Barbara grew up in Cummaquid, the daughter of Francis and Dorothea Hallett. She graduated in 1946 from Barnstable High School. She worked at the Barnstable Village Courthouse before her marriage. All her life, she maintained an avid interest in her community, in genealogy and in history, especially of the Cape.

Barbara is also survived by two granddaughters, two nephews, a step-granddaughter and a great step-granddaughter.
