Charles E. Pearson

Charles E. (“Charlie”) Pearson, September 9, 1942 – January 8, 2022. Charlie passed in peace Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the age of 79. His passing is preceded by the love of his life, Elaine, to whom he was devoted since their teens. They raised two sets of twins, in Norfolk, MA where Charlie, a true self-made man, built the family’s dream home and ran his HVAC business. They later moved to Centerville where Charlie provided HVAC services for several schools until finally retiring. He was dedicated to his profession, making sure he was available for school emergencies during extreme weather, so he rarely took vacations. He loved to remain “on Cape” and enjoyed working at home and in the yard, often tooling about on his garden tractor. He had a never-ending battle with the leaves, but he thrived on making his wooded lot beautiful and was relentless in getting grass to grow. He loved a challenge.

Charlie was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Although he was quiet by nature, he had a quick wit that often caught you off guard. Charlie will be dearly missed. He is survived by his children Charles E. Pearson, Jr. and his wife Denise of Norfolk, MA, his daughter Christina Kiely and her husband Dan of North Attleboro, MA, his daughter Ann Volk and her husband Don, of Orono, ME, and his daughter Linda Dickinson and her husband Joe of Melbourne Beach, FL. He was also a loving grandfather to five grandchildren: Stacey, Erin, Kathryn, Daniel Jr. and Elizabeth, and a great grandfather to four, Kailee, Henry, Oliver, and Ryder.

A graveside gathering will be planned for warmer weather at Norfolk Cemetery, Norfolk, MA.
