Daniel I Gomez

It is with great sadness that the friends and chosen family of Daniel I. Gomez Jr., announce his passing from complications of a heart attack. Danny was born in Worcester MA on May 19, 1977 to Daniel and the late Deborah. He lived in Worcester with his parents and sister Denise for the first half of his life. Following the salt air and an old friend, Danny moved to Hyannis, Cape Cod where he lived and worked until his passing on March 17, 2024. Danny made a career in customer service at the Cape Dairy company in Hyannis. He often worked six days a week and brought indelible character and charm to the company. Throughout his years there, Danny befriended many co-workers and customers with whom he shared inside jokes and laughs. He built an extensive friend network with the crew at his favorite afterwork retreat, The 19th Hole of Hyannis. St. Patrick’s Day was one of Danny’s favorite holidays and we are sorry he didn't get to celebrate this last one. To everyone who was a friend to Danny and appreciated him for who he was, please know that you made his world better and brighter than he ever could have imagined. Danny was a constant reminder for all of us to see the good in humankind and give out hugs freely.

We will miss you Danny Boy. Thanks for making us smile.
