David T. Grose, a local artist, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Mr. Grose was a few weeks shy of his 95th birthday. Sixty-five of those years were spent with his wife Margit Whale Grose on Cape Cod: Dennis, Massachusetts. Margit and David spent a productive life raising two children Margaret and Daniel Grose and ran a business together, Grose Gallery for over 40 years. David was an extraordinarily intelligent and gifted person in all the arts. He was the world’s expert on silk screen printing. David was also was a master painter, wood engraver and illustrator. David was also known to write well and play almost every musical instrument, if not well than musically. As a member of the greatest generation he was very giving of his time. David will be missed very much by his family and all those who were closest to him. A memorial gathering will be held by his family in the Spring.
