Donna Marie Penny

She was born on November 16, 1944, in Worcester, MA and after raising her daughters in Holden, MA, she moved to Centerville, Cape Cod, where she lived for the past 21 years.

Donna will forever be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and nana. She was the best friend to her husband, Richard, for 49 years. Everyone who knew them admired the support they offered each other through good times and bad.

She leaves behind her husband, Richard Penny of Centerville; her two daughters, Robin Penny Dow and Kristen Penny and husband, John Buterbaugh; her 6 grandchildren will always remember the wonderful times being spoiled by their beloved Nana. She is also survived by her brother, Roger Lambert and his wife, Betty Lou of Worcester.

Donna loved to cook for her family and enjoyed gardening and spending time at the beach.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, May 24 at First Lutheran Church, 1663 Main Street, West Barnstable, with a reception following in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory can be made to First Lutheran Church.
