Elizabeth (Betty) (Tkacz) Tingley passed away November 15, 2025 beneath the warmth of her Patriots team blanket, comforted by her sister, Patti. She was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Germaine (Savageau) Tkacz, brother Paul Tkacz, and her beloved husband, Drew, who was the light of her life.
Betty is survived by her sisters Patricia Malo, of Manchester, NH, Paula Foisie of Bradenton, FL, Jo Ann Bonneville of Bedford, NH and Laurie Sweet of Auburn, NH along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She loved them all unconditionally.
A warm, loving and giving person, Betty had an affinity for all animals. She was a frequent donor to Goldy’s Farm Animal Sanctuary not only monetarily but sending many delicious meals to help feed both staff and animal residents. She was an avid birdwatcher, frequently “birdwatching from her deck and calling to report the ones who had visited that day.
Her love for cooking is unmatched with Thanksgiving being her favorite holiday. To her “the bigger the bird the better”.
Now at peace, she is (in her own words) “living the dream and doing the Betty dance” with her beloved Drew.
Rest in peace, dear Sister. We miss you and (the words you were waiting to hear) love you to the moon and back. You did it your way.
Per Betty’s wish not to be fussed over, there are no calling hours.
Memorial donations in her name may be made to Goldy’s Farms Animal Sanctuary (goldysfarm.com) or the Mashpee SPCA.
