
.Hyannis - Jacqueline Joseph, 72, died at her home on May 15, 2010 after an illness. She was the wife of John E. Joseph, who died in 2001. Born in Harwich, MA, she attended Brewster Grammar School. The daughter of Yvette (Bassett) Brailey and Gerlad Brailey, she moved to Waukegan, IL with her mother and stepfather, Frank V. Innello, while in her teens. She also lived in Newport, RI before returning to the Cape in the 1950's, eventually moving into a newly-built house on Baxter Rd. in Hyannis, where she met her future husband, John E. Joseph. After the couple married in 1960, they operated "The Willows" guest house in Hyannis for several years following their move from Marsons Mills. Mrs. Joseph was an active antique dealer and collector from the 1960's through the 1980's, and her wide knowledge of the field was unsurpassed. She shared with her family a deep love of pets and other animals. She was also an outstanding cook and prepared many wonderful family meals. Mrs. Joseph is survived by three sons, Gary, Eric and Gerald Joseph all of Hyannis; a sister, Diane Grundstrom of Milton, FL, a brother, John Innello of Ashburn, VA., a nephew and two nieces. A graveside service, open to the public, will be held at 1pm on June 5, 2010 at Mosswood Cemetery on Putnam Ave. Coutuit MA.
