

away on February 7, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Born in
Brooklyn, NY, Gwen grew up in Brighton and received her Bachelor's
Degree in English from Emmanuel College in Boston. Upon graduation,
Gwen worked for the Boston Globe Newspaper where she met her late
husband Jack. She continued working until she had children. At that
point, she devoted her life and infinite love to her family. Gwen is
survived by her son Jay of Centerville and her daughter Lisa of
Hyannis. She was the devoted sister of Joan Crowley of NY and the late
James McLaughlin, Rosemary Robotham, Cathleen Malley, Dolores O'Meara
and Francis (Ferg) McLaughlin. She is also survived by many nieces and
nephews. Family and Friends may call at the Doane, Beal and Ames
Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, HYANNIS from 9-10:30 am on Monday,
February 10, 2014 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint
Francis Xavier Church, 347 South Street Hyannis Mass at 11:00 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. At the
