Jacquelyn (Duchesney) Benolken

Jacquelyn (Duchesney) Benolken, of Barnstable, MA, passed away after a prolonged illness on January 31, 2026, at the age of 87.

She was born on April 28, 1938, at Cape Cod Hospital to Francis and Myrtle (Kelly) Duchesney.

Jackie graduated from Barnstable High School in 1956. She was a long-time employee of New England Telephone Company and retired in 2005 to Sarasota, Florida, to be near her brother Charlie and his wife Joan and sister Janet Collingwood.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony F. Benolken Jr., her two sisters, Janet Collingwood, F. Jeanne Reed, and her brother, Charles V. Duchesney.

Jackie is survived by her daughters, Toni Marie Benolken of Hyannis, Laurie Jean Ellis and her husband John of West Barnstable and Maryellen Trayner and her husband Adam of Marco Island, Florida. Jackie is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
