Joan Coffman Kelly, 93, will be greatly missed. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was born in Massachusetts and graduated from Ohio State University and then earned her MA at Columbia University.
She taught at The Professional Children’s School in New York, NY and The Buckley County School in Roslyn, NY. When she moved her family to CT, she became the Director of The Hill Top Day Care Center in Weston, CT.
Joan was an amateur figure skater who performed at The Rockefeller center skating rink. She loved her summers on Cape Cod so much that she and her husband Arthur chose to retire in their home in Osterville.
Joan passed peacefully at home, on March 8, 2021, with her loving husband of 67 years, Arthur W. Kelly Jr. by her side. Joan will be greatly missed by her son Arthur W. Kelly III and his wife Sara Kelly of Westport, CT along with her two amazing grandchildren Katie Kelly and Arthur Kelly IV. She also leaves behind her daughter Kerry Joyce of Danbury, CT
